Jessica Marie Alba is a beautiful American Actress born on April 28th 1981 at Pomona, California. Jessica Alba was bought up in an Air force family. She moved to Del Rio, Texas due to her Fathers Career along with her brother Joshua.

Jessica Alba always wanted to have an acting career since age of five. She started her acting classes at age of twelve. Soon Jessica Alba was signed by an agency.

Jessica Alba made her debut in the movie Camp Nowhere. Her role was limited to a two week schedule however as one of the prominent actress dropped out later on her role was extended for two months. Later on she appeared in two more commercials for Nintendo and J.C.Penny and also few more independent films. She appeared in television series “The Secret World of Alex Mac”. Jessica Alba further performed the role of Maya in the first two seasons of the TV series Flipper. She acted for few episodes in television shows like Brooklyn South, Beverly Hills 9021 and The Love Boat: The Next Wave.

In 1999 she acted in Comedy Feature P.U.N.K.S featuring Randy Quaid.

Jessica Alba was noticed in Entertainment Industry with her short role in Romantic Comedy “Never Been Kissed” and the lead role in comedy horror “Idle Hands”. Her Big Break came when she was selected from 1200 candidates for the role of Super Soldier Max Guevara in the Sci-Fi TV Series Dark Angel. The series was written / Directed by James Cameron. After the cancellation of the series after two seasons she appeared in features Paranoid in 2000 and The Sleeping Dictionary in 2003.

 


Further Jessica Alba has been popularly known for her roles in Honey for aspiring Dancer- Choreographer, in Sin City where she plays the role of exotic dancer Nancy Callahan and The Fantastic Four where she plays the character of Sue Storm, The Invisible Women.

In 2006, Jessica Alba was voted No 1. among the Top 100 Most Desirable women. Further Jessica Alba appeared on Cover of Playboy Magazine in March 2006 issue. Also she was named among the 25 sexiest celebrities and Sex Star of the year. She threatened to sue Playboy for using her image (from a promotional shot for movie Into the Blue) without her consent, and making it appear as if she had appeared for the Nude Pictorial.

She was engaged to her Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly in 2006 but later the engagement was called off.

The Box Office reports of her latest Movie “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” have been very good. She is also labeled as “the sexiest single star” as soon after the release of her latest movie, Reports are published that Jessica Alba has separated from Cash Warren. The pair had dated each other for past two years. The reason for their break up is because Cash did not want to get married however Jessica wanted to tie the knot as soon as possible.

 

Jessica Alba has vowed that she will not do any hot scenes for movies and will never do any Sex- Scenes or even appear nude in front of cameras. She has reportedly turned down offers made by Directors like Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez due to her no- nudity stand. Jessica Alba has been noted stating that she was more interested in roles that were more innocent.
